I've been on the circuit for a few years now and along the way I was helped by several professionals from the speaking field who shared their knowledge and experiences with the most genuine generosity of spirit and time. Initially I started my work in the field as a storyteller using only my natural ability to carry a story, a gift I recognized from early childhood when kids in my classroom would ask me to tell their stories simply because I told them better. My innate gift came complete with mannerisms, body language, pace and rhythm, tension and relief: all these felt completely natural to me.

Yossi is an extraordinary storyteller - he talks about his rich life experiences, recounting personal stories such as the story of his amazing survival in the Amazon rainforest. He also tells other stories about adventures in other fields including travel and explorations in remote corners of the world and his involvement in diverse international business ventures. He reveals his intimate knowledge of many cultures and philosophies and speaks about encounters with remarkable people who have made a difference in his life. Introduction
In the midst of the uncharted Amazon, after losing his three companions, one man was tested to the extreme, alone and bare to the bone, for three harrowing weeks of sheer survival against all odds. He lived to tell the amazing story as well as how the ordeal profoundly affected his understanding of himself and his life purpose.
Ten years later Yossi returned to the Amazon and made it his home. Working with indigenous forest dwellers for three years they built Cha-la-lan, a model eco-tourism village that inspired the entire Amazon basin and the world.
The following decade of his life he dedicated to the treatment and rehabilitation of opiate addicts around the world.
Yossi now travels the planet sharing his universal messages of strength, hope and inspiration.
