About Seminar Leader Yossi Ghinsberg has dedicated his life to the pursuit of his dreams and visions. In this process he has become an expert in the manifestation of vision. His teaching is unique as is his life story. A searcher of truth and knowledge, he has journeyed throughout the world living in many cultures and investigating many traditions, religions and philosophies. Yossi’s formal education includes a postgraduate business degree and a degree in Jewish philosophy.
Yossi served in the Israeli navy on the Red Sea for three years. At the southern desert of Sinai he has befriended and lived with a Bedouin tribes and was greatly influenced by their ways. He has also lived and worked both in the Andes and the Amazon in various fields, including ethnobotany and sustainable development in full partnership with indigenous peoples and with the cooperation of major international conservation corporations and financing institutes.
His youth adventure in the Amazon has inspired millions of readers of his book ‘Jungle’ and viewers of the documentary film based on it.
During one stage of his life, Yossi dedicated himself to the treatment of opiate addiction, opening 12 centers in the Americas, Europe and Asia and being involved in the treatment of thousands of patients.
Yossi studied the Kabala in both academic and authentic environments. He traveled in India and researched the Vedas and the Geeta. Having practiced intensive and rigorous Buddhist meditation retreats, Yossi is also a dedicated yoga practitioner.
Yossi is one of the world’s most endeavored motivational and inspirational speakers, working with many Fortune 500 companies in Europe, United States, South America, Australia and Asia.
He lives in a remote part of Australia in a rainforest with his wife and children yet for the purpose of his work he is always local in Europe, Asia, the Americas and Australia.
When describing his archetypal energy, Yossi identifies himself as the Dreamer/Fool. It is a strong archetype that characterizes most heroes of all the great classic stories. The most important aspect of the hero is the ‘Fool’ aspect. Daring to risk it all, daring to let the child within lead the way with untainted heart. Being courageous yet not attached to the outcome for it is the adventure that counts most.
This attitude is the driving force of the Shaman, the master of manifestation, for him nothing is impossible and nothing is taken for granted.
