| You Can Only Create A Future As A Vision |
|
If you are fully engaged in what is, you are living. If you chase pleasant and happy experiences and have aversion to disturbance, you will never have a moment of rest, nor will you ever experience true joy. The art of living is not a quest for happiness, but rather a quest for happen-ness. There is no use in fighting the present moment. Acceptance is a great virtue, for what is now cannot be changed. Don't blame others for what exists now; you are the co-creator of the present. Use this understanding as an empowering message to yourself. If you are responsible, you cannot be a victim. And if you are responsible, you can contribute to the now that will manifest in the future. You can only create a future as a vision. Your purpose is to work toward the manifestation of your vision in the world, and you do it in the present. The secret of manifestation is not clinging desperately to the end result; it is casting a vision and letting it go. Asking for it and immediately giving thanks as if it was already given. Life is always present; past and future are realms of existence only in the now. However, if you have no vision, if you've accepted a default vision thrust upon you by fear, you should examine your life and take responsibility for it. Remember, you are its co-creator. Look at the present moment and accept it for what it is. If it feels harsh or difficult, just remember that just as you have helped create it you can help create a different next moment. With this outlook, the challenge will be intriguing, not overwhelming. |
