Yet we believe our lives are full of injustice, because resisting is what we do best. We are never fulfilled and never at rest, always clinging, needing, aspiring, demanding, not accepting and not agreeable with change. What we want we never get, and if we get it, it is never enough, and when we get it, it is never in time. What we do not want comes to us all the time - it seems we are all victims by our own design. Any injustice that exists in our man-made world is man-made. Yet all is perfectly perfect at all times. We have what we have. Tomorrow we may not have it any longer. We are who we are. Our uniqueness is our strength. The world is as we are. If we want the world to be different, as Gandhi said, we need to be that difference first. We've forgotten how perfect we are, how perfect all human beings are. There is no need to save ourselves - we are perfect already. There is no need to save the world - the world is perfect as it is. The world cannot be anything but perfect; imperfection is impossible. Like a black hole, so is the perfection of creation - nothing can escape it. |
