The traditional conflict between creationism and Darwinism is a clear indication of the limitation of the isms. For millennia the religious and spiritual institutes held to the theory that the world was created exactly as it exists today by an entity they could identify and name. The intellectuals revolted against the man-made god and declared that there is no god, no creator, and that the laws of physics and mathematics can explain the creation of the world and the evolution of all species. These scientists became zealous and as narrow-minded as the clergy of the time. Darwin was right, evolution is the ability of a species to constantly flow with change and adapt to circumstances. Those who adhere to the law of change survive. However, their adaptation and evolution is encoded in their design, which science alone cannot explain. The sixth law of the jungle states that the world indeed is created by an omnipresent and omnipotent force beyond the ability of words to describe and explain. Yet this force manifests itself and its creation by systems and means that can be deciphered and measured. |
